Texas Native in Upstate NY

Hello everyone! I'm Ryan, and I currently reside in Upstate NY, Watertown to be exact. I am a helicopter mechanic in the Army. I'm into cars, of course lol, and photography. I just got into detailing and really enjoy making my car look it's best.
First off, this is the first time I have ever done paint correction. I don't have progress pictures or up close, which I will get tomorrow hopefully.
So this past weekend I did some polishing on my car. I striped the car with CG's Citrus Wash, then I clayed with the light duty clay bar. There was some road grime/tar that I couldn't remove on the bottom of the rocker panels, so I will take care of those upon returning from deployment next year. I inspected the paint best I could under direct sunlight and a DIY made sun gun light which consisted of a 12V cordless drill and the Solux 35W 4700K bulb(I used a write up off a BMW forum). I didn't see much swirls other than on the spoiler and just under the driver and passenger windows. I did have some deep scratches though. I also had adhesive or something in perfect outlines right where my vinyl stripes used to be. I removed those Thursday.
I used my PC 7424XP along with Hexlogic Pads(Orange, White, Black, and Red) and CG's V36, V38, EZ Creme Glaze, Hybrid V7, and Caranuba Wax + XSeal.
I couldn't completely remove the swirls from the spoiler and the deep scratches. The V36 and orange pads wasn't cutting it.
Well, it took me over 14 hours over the span of 3 days and I'm pretty beat! Well, onto some pictures.
