A buddy from another forum just had his truck stolen. He loves this truck dearly, as do I and just about everyone else that sees it. If anyone has any info, please contact me immediately, at anytime. Needless to say he is very upset. :grrr

He lives and works in Houston.

Truck was stolen from his office near the 610 Loop and Hwy 59.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR THE TRUCK!!!!

YOU CAN'T MISS IT.

HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS.

It's the Dark Green Crew Cab Short Bed Lariat.

THE 40" TIRES AND 10.5" OF LIFT ARE A DEAD GIVEAWAY!!!

If seen on road, please dial 911 for the authorities.

Kevin has put so much hard work into this truck. It's been unbelievable to watch this build on the Ford forums. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Ok, finally got the pics semi-working; they're links, but they get the point across. Guess it's time to get a photobucket account. ;)

Thanks again,

Tom

Wow, could they have picked a more conspicuous vehicle to steal? What a bunch of morons. Anyway, I will keep a look out. Again, thieves should be killed on sight. When did the theft take place?

My uncle's deer lease near his home, in the middle of NOWHERE, recently got robbed. They got a 3 wheeler, 4 wheeler, propane heater, and even went so low as to steal canned goods. Canned goods! Come on!

Thieves suck, man. And honestly, who steals a truck like that? There isn't another one like it. I just hope they didn't head down to mexico with it. I believe the theft took place about 5 or so days ago at the location described in my first post. Thanks for the extra sets of eyes!

Canned goods is pretty low. I guess all you can do is hope they choked on it. And yes, I believe they should be shot on sight. I should mention, the people that took Kevin's truck definitely picked the wrong person to mess with. He's with special forces in the military. Whatever the cops do to these guys will seem like a vacation if Kevin ever gets his hands on them.

It pisses me off that people would do these kind of things. I will definitely be on the lookout. BTW, what part of town was the car originally from?

Also, how long has it been? The longer it is, the more likely it's been in a chop shop. Not to give up hope on your friend's car. I wish the best of luck. No one deserves these kind of things.

Yeah, I would think by now this thing has been parted out. Driving it as is is way too risky for the thieves. What a loss.

Still no word on the truck. By now though, my hopes are dying. It's way to risky to be driving something that high-profile around town... Half the internet knows this thing is gone by now as word has spread quickly. Sad to say, it's either been stripped of high end mods and parted out or someone is beating thes snot out of it down in Mexico. Either way, they're bastids, whoever did this. Hopefully Kevin still has the ambition to build something even better the next time around if this truck doesn't turn up.

Thanks again for the extra eyes. Keep your eyes peeled for Kevin's sake/sanity.

If I see this vehicle up here, I'll definitely let you guys know. I saw the pics and could tell the guy put a lot of work into that rig.

My guess is that the culprits may have already driven the truck in a very "obscure" part of TX, out of state or into Mexico.

When I saw that the truck was stolen in Texas, I immediately thought of Houston. And guess what? I WAS RIGHT!

It's a real shame that his truck was nicked, looked like a nice piece of machinery.

Your buddy can thank the Louisiane refugees for that! You receive them with open arms, and look what they do to your state/cities.

One reason why you'll never see my @$$ in Houston ever again.

Truck's gone... the insurance company treated him pretty well and he was able to buy a new truck and send it out for some work... Pics to follow. Thank you guys for keeping your eyes peeled.

I bet the crooks probably took it to a chop shop first thing... most stolen cars end up this way, meaning no chance of recovery even a few hours later :(
