Tested out NEW NXT INSANE TIRE SHINE!

i dont understand.. are you bashing on the rims and tires? cause if you are, what would be the point of that? did you expect Rudamous to go out and buy a car which fit your criteria with the tires and rims you like, just so you would be happy???

reviews are based on the persons own experience.. why dont you try it out for yourself, before you make up a decision on it? and make sure you try it on nice wheels, on tires with thin side walls

Uhh if you read I said all those factors didnt give it a fair chance. We need another photo and car , rim and etc. Photgraphically speaking that photo is a technical mess.

The photo itself makes me want to vomit. I think it all starts off with the green paint (yes I know thats how it supposed to be, but I think that just sets the tone for the whole picture). Next you have a curbed rim. And non-bicubically resized photo, so it has those terrible jaggies that distorts everything.

Do you ever watch those commercials. Where there is this person in black and white , hair all frizzy , having a sad face. Then takes this product. The music changes , the guy is smiling , its in full color. For all you knew he took some product and looked better. But in reality it was the way the commercial presented him and due to time constraints the used simple editing and expressions to make it like he was a whole nother person.

Well thats what happened on this photo. I also personally think the tire also made this product looks bad with the tiny words and full paragraph of info on the side.

I have not made my mind up and simply want another photo as stated before. I dont think I would use it due to its cost. But yeah if a customer needed teh ghetto shine. I would probably go for this can of insano.

I think this looks much better. My mom's bimmer still looks almost as it did yesterday still that crazy shine. But it's only been one day.

The lighting however on the sentra was right before sunset just in case anyone cared to know. It keeps the same finish though the just deep black matte. I like the look of it. I want to try the tire foam too but I can't find it yet.

Now this is much better :xyxthumbs. But its a throw off as its a technically better photograph. You even took the photo when the sun was setting (If you didnt know thats the prime time to do any sort of photoshoot ie; person , car , large inanimate objects)

Nice rim, nice tire sidewall, a color on a car I can live with and the photo is resized using a bicubic process. (no jaggies)

So its again kind of unfair, but yeah the matte finish looks nice. Now all I want to know is how long this stuff lasts. :up

The purpose of the photo was to show the tire and the way it shined as a result of the application of the product. It did that just fine.

If you are unable to look at the tire and must focus on the color of the car the tire was mounted on, that's your own personal problem.

I think that the first pic was much better in showing off the tire shine. Even if it was all jaggy. The second didnt have the sun reflectin on it as much as the first one.

We need more data.

Is there any sling from the product?

Does it last through a washing?

Thanks for the review Rudamous! I saw this in the Advanced Auto Parts store...the price does seem kinda of steep. I guess keep us updated. My main concern is any sling from driving around? and How it holds up to rain or water? Other than that I do other people's car who want that Insane shine and I dont mind a little shine own my own tires every ONCE in a while :) If the Shine lasts longer than typical and doesnt sling I can see the price justified a little better.

Rudamous

THanks for taking the time and effort to post pics and write your review on the new product. Now go test the new Mothers's FX SYN WAX for me!! :) jk

Obviously you missed the rest of the point. I also dont think you understand that presentation is a big factor no matter what the case. The eye sees more than whats at the center.

Also my personal problem??? Im telling you straight up that its either a fair chance or not. I think the non-bicubic resizing really was bad and the sidewall as well. Plus it was overexposed looking. Making for a really bright , shiney jagged funky looking wheel. So, no it didnt do it just fine. It did things completely wrong and on a completely wrong car. If you read this entire post you would see quite a few people critizing the product. I just critized the photo and the factors that made it so.

Sorry you missed the point because if you read and comprehended. I havent really made any sort judgement, just pointed out its not a fair chance or comparison.

Take a photography class. Youll know what I mean. :xyxthumbs

Now there's a well written rebuttle.

The rest of us had no problem seeing that the tire is real shiny.

The tire would still look real shiny.

I don't think you realize that this was a young guy just trying to show some people what he thought of a product. There are some Autopians, who have excellent photography skills, some that have a functional knowledge, and some people who don't know which way to hold the camera. We all share a passion related to cars but all bets are off from there. You can't expect that when someone tries to share their opinion of a product. Did the first problem have issues ? Sure it did, and that is where constructive criticism enters the discussion, not ' that photo itself makes me want to vomit'. Share your knowledge and experience, don't use it as a foundation for diatribes.
