Terry bonnets?

My CMA pad kit came today, and it comes with 2 terry bonnets for buffing. Are they safe to use? They don't feel soft at all, and I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable using them on freshly polished paint. They feel very rough, and I wanted to get your opinions on them first. Also, the lambswool bonnet, is that safe to use with Zaino Z12 glass polish on my windows?

Heh heh, that' one big reason why I usually advise against "pad kits". No, I would *NOT* use the terry pads. As for the wool one with glass polish, I dunno for sure but I certainly doubt that it would cause a problem. Glass is harder than wool...
 
Thanks man. I got the kit because it's the same price as the pads alone, but includes the 2 terry bonnets and the wool one, so they were basically free.

The CMA kit is a good deal and they are a very reputable folks.



The cotton bonnets are OK to use. You may want to wash them first. The cotton bonnets and CMA's microfiber bonnets are installed over the wool pad.



I have used both the cotton bonnets and the microfiber bonnets on my black Hemi. With both I removed most of the product by hand with a microfiber polishing cloth and then finished up with the PC and one of the bonnets.



The CMA website gives excellent directions for using their products. Check it out or call them.

tguil is right..always wash them first. I prefer to use terry cloth to apply rather than remove...If I use a bonnet to remove, I use MF, MF suede or Diaper bonnets.

This is exactly what I do.



I get 99.9% of the wax off by hand and use the bonnets to get the last little bit.
