Tech Waxed an F-650

3M adhesive remover... let it sit, peel of as much of the sticker as you can, then wet a towel with the remover and finish the rest. -Brad H

You probably have some WD40 around the house. It's safe to use on paint for sticker residue removal. Just rewax after using.

I used this product and I think it help weaken the paint enough to make my fingernail scratch the paint .. leaving a rather ugly scratch. Hardly even help with taking off the pinstripe.

Listen to the others and dont do as I did. I found also a hairdryer worked well at removing the stripe. Although a residue was left behind.

Yes! Use the 3M remover! It works REALLY well and doesn't seem to affect the paint. If it's a big sticker, 3M makes a special wheel that attaches to a drill that'll work. It's normally used to remove trim adhesive for body side moulding, but does bumper stickers well too. Be careful if you go the Goo-Gone route because too much can be bad if you don't have high-quality paint, your clear coat is thin, or we're talking old-time laquer. Remember, Goo-Gone is acidic (citrus prime ingredient) - if you use it, do it quick and wash the spot thoroughly afterwards and re-wax!

I did wash promptly afterwards. I dont know why I used Goo Gone. Just had to toss out the can of WD40 and.. didnt have anything else. I dunno what I was thinking.. or maybe I wasnt?
