Teaser Pic! (UPDATED)

This Porsche is a “virgin” in that no on has washed it nor has any hack detailer touched it. It came off the truck wrapped in plastic, went through the car prep and then the keys given to the happy new owner.

I started the detail late in the afternoon and finished late so this is the only “teaser” pic I took of it. I need to return tomorrow morning and apply the Trade Secret topper and then I’ll take several more pictures and post them. I was sent several samples of some new Platinum products and I used them all on this Porsche.

The Platinum leather cleaner is a great new product and it is in the form of a gel. Great color, awesome fragrance and effective yet gentle cleaning abilities. I do highly recommend discarding the Platinum container and pouring the product into a spray bottle or slipping into the Platinum bottle a spray nozzle as using the provided pour cap seems to waste too much product.

I also used the new Platinum Gel wheel cleaner with its awesome fluorescent color! This stuff really cleans and a little goes along way. Great scent also. Then we have my favorite new product from Platinum, which is the Tire Gel. This is perhaps one of the best tire dressings I have used to date, much better than Eiman Fabriks Tire Gel, IMHO.

I am testing also a few other new things, like a SMR, sealant and a new tire/wheel brush combo. I’ll post a review later.

Take care all.
Anthony

PS. OK, this morning I went and QD the car down with Platinum and then topped it with Trade Secret. When I pulled it out in the sun the windows were still horrible so I had to do them all over and man was it hot today, at least 103!

The Platinum Tire Gel is great stuff, how it compares to the Meguiars tire gel I have no idea since I have never used that product but seriously I can't imagine it being better. Here are a few updated pics, hope you like them.

Also, my nieghbors know better than to think that this is my car:mad:

looks great that platnium tire gel stuff looks just like my Eagle One Wet Tire Gel. I orderd 4 bottles back in may only used one so far and I love it.

I've always liked the Meguiars tire gel. Would you know how it compares to the Platinum gel?

I like Megs HE gel because it lasts a long time, and the gloss is just about right. The downside is, you have to seriously scrub the tires the next time, or it wont look right.

Anthony,

As usual, your work is impeccable!

That's also great to hear about the new Platinum products....... and just what I would expect from Dwayne and the guys at 4 Star!

Looking forward to more pics! What a great vehicle! Remember to go easy on her............. as she is a "virgin"! :D

When do I get to get a car that is wrapped in plastic straight from the factor.........HELL NO!!!!!! I get the kiddie mini vans from hell.:D

Anthony

As always you do great work and have a super network and trust of customers...I admire you a bunch and hope, that my deatil biz is only a year or two aways from this, type of trust.;)

Anthony, after this last year of High School, I will be going to Baylor. I might have to drive down to SA and see if I can have you nitpick the heck out of my car.

BTW, that Porsche it absolutely beautiful. Too bad BMW beat them to "The Ultimate Driving Machine".

GT3!!!!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THAT CAR!!!! Only I would chose Black or Red, but if I were fortunate to get that yellow you would hear no complaints out of me!!! Awesome car and great job...however, I would not expect anything less from you...

P.S. Were you able to take her out and let her breathe !!!!!

Dan,

Thanks and come on down and visit a bit :)

Clean Dean,

Nope, no heavy "breathing" for at least the first 1000 miles but I am sure I will get the chance then :)

Anthony

You dont think you could accidentally lose a few tins of P21S and Trade Secret in my car, could you :D

But hey, when I get down there, I will definately get in contact with you. I look forward to meeting the man that can truely turn detailing into a fine art.
