tax refund - what are you going to spend it on?

BigAl3- You're gonna wonder how you ever got by without that!

Oh, look into the nifty quick release couplers that Griot's sells (PN 84060). I thought they'd be BS, wouldn't spend my $ on 'em. Then I got a set for Christmas and !OH MAN! are they nice! Got more because they simply spoiled me on my regular ones and now I'd hate to live without them.

Of course the smart thing to do would be to find them cheaper somewhere, but GG is quick and easy.

I buy the Harbor Frieght's brass couplers when on sale.

I must have a half a doz of steel ones in the parts drawer, never buy them again, they rust and you have to keep the WD40 handy all the time.

Mine get thrown around, on the floor, on the driveway, etc, so they pick up some water once in a while, brass is the way to go.

Folks don't always consider what a "house hold" tool a compressor can be.

Like the lint filter in your dryer, next time you pull it out to take off the lint, take it out to the compressor and blow the living daylights out of it, clothes will dry quicker, as the small screen is full of small lint particles that picking off won't get.

Same with your vaccum cleaner, any filters that are prefilters, blow them clean as well.

Buy the "long air wand" that HF and others have, it's about 2 and 1/2 foot long, it's great for getting cobwebs, dust, etc from places you can't normally get to, lots of good things to be done with a compressor and right accessories.

thanks guys! i was foolin' around with it today (briefly blew the vents and interior inside the ride) and used it to blow off the lawn mower and gas weed eater when i was done cutting and edging the grass (damn allergies today :( ) and i can honestly say that if you detail cars, an air compressor is an absolute must. i wish i would of bought one alot sooner, better late than never! :D

p.s. i plan on buying the long air wand and tools so i can the rotate tires on a regular basis without having to bother going somewhere to have it done... :up
