What do you do? Im clueless here. Ive tried cleaners, etc, Im really stuck here. ANY help would be awesome:showpics

Tar is an oil based substance, so you'll need a solvent to break it up. I would suggest some mineral spirits on a rag and dab at it as it softens up. If you don't have any mineral spirits then you can try some charcoal fluid. You should try this on the carpet in a hodden place (like under the seat) first, to make sure it won't pull any color out of the carpet. Once you have the tar removed, you can follow up with a water based cleaner such as some diluted simple green. Another good product that would work is goof off.

I've used Stoner's Xenit and that worked well. I've also used a citrus based solvent, but I can't recall the name right now. I think it may have been Citri-gel?
