Taping trim before Polishing w/PC

Tape will be a lot easier on the sunroof felt than a pad with product will be! Either work around it by hand (very carefully) or tape it.



My local Lowe's has the 3M tape too, right beside the horrible generic stuff that leaves residue on everything (hint hint Re the cheap stuff ).

As for taping off the BMW. I have to agree with the original poster. The E46 BMW's are a PITA to tape off and polish for that matter. So many creases moldings, trims, lines, etc. They good when done are pure joy to drive but to detail they suck.

Ahhh, so I am not learning disabled, just working with a bit of a challenging car to detail. I was worried for a few weeks
