You bet. I remember being excited to hear about the store, and then I visited it and was pretty let down.

I live in Crescent Hill. I've only been here for a couple of years, and probably won't be here long term. What about you? I see you are a Cardinals fan.

I live in the Pleasure Ridge Park area. Ive known about the store for a while, but I never had a reason to go there. I just recently got into deatiling seriously. I was sort of let down also. Yeah Im a Cards fan, but Im a convert, I used to be a Cats fan!! LOL Where do you buy your stuff locally?? Or do you order everything on line?

I don't know what you guys are making a fuss about, sounds pretty much like the Meg's company line to me: Our waxes are as good as any others, layering is a fantasy, and you just need one good Meg's product (LSP), not a bunch of them.

If you follow the Autopian logic of process > product, and the fact that most people can't tell the difference between LSP's visually, and also that most people wouldn't bother with topping one product with another, and the guy's advice doesn't seem off-base.

I dont recall making a fuss about anything. I just wanted to share the coversation I had with this guy with everyone.

Bence,

Oh, don't worry about Balthasar! :chuckle: By the way, if you don't mind if I ask, what exactly do you do professionally? Your posts are always very helpful and informative. I value your insights highly, and I am curious about what your background is like.

Thanks,

John

I end up ordering most things from online suppliers, as there are very few places to find products locally, and even when I can what I am looking for, I can almost always purchase them for less online.

Take care,

John
