Here in Omaha, I can rent an ozone generator from a janitorial supply store for $25/day. I don't know if there's anyplace to rent one from in Calgary, or if the cost would be prohibitive compared to having a pro tackle the job, but it might worth be looking into.

Thanks. I think I came upon a post of yours in a search. I have called around with no luck.

I did find a detail shop that will let me run an ionizer for cheap - it may be safer on the plastics - not sure.



So far I have used everything imaginable - total detail, baking soda, vanilla, ozium, etc.

The smell has diminished (kinda smoky vanilla now:D ) but the best was wiping it down with Meguiars #40.

The smell is kinda scary!

I only had time for a couple of doors and one seat back but man it smelt better - in a cancer causing new car chemical kinda way.

I hit the armrest with it and it took off dirt in a jiffy that was left behind by Meguiars Extra and elbow grease.
