Tacoma polished.........

Sup everyone!! I had a good day today. I received my headlight polishing kit from ADS months ago and I got to use it today. The tacoma sits outside all 24/7 and the owner wanted his truck looking as close to new again.



Process:



1.) Washed with vinegar and water



2.) Washed with regular car soap



3.) Polished head lights

During Wetsanding:

after I buffed the headlight with the wool pad

Body Process



1.) Polished with the Meguiars #2 and meguiars polishing pad.



2.) Polished with Mothers Foam Pad polish for Dark colors with meguiars polishing pad.



3.) Polished with body magic finishing glaze with meguiars polishing pad.



4.) Sealed with with Finsh Kare 1000p.

You have the same headlight polishing pads that I do.....how did you like them? I haven't had to wetsand headlights yet......I have had pretty good success with just the PlastX and Buff Shine.........good job!!

Is the bud light a pad conditioner? I may have to try this, nice packaging too.

Thanks for the kind words. I haven't had a detail like this since last year!! I have been cleaning more cars than actually detailing them. It was a hot day so I had to reward myself and replenish my carbs.



Scott, The tacoma was actually 2 stage. No color transfer to the pads.



Mose, I really like the pads. Easy to use and clean. I had to wet sand them because they were really in bad shape. Thanks for the kind words again.
