The page you referenced states the following:

Conclusion

Good construction, good flow, good filtering

In the low-priced group, the AC PF, Purolator PremiumPlus, STP, and SuperTech appear to be good choices. These four filters are "best buys" because they doing most things well and are in the low-priced group.

In the high-priced group, the Amsoil, Mobil 1, Fram XG, and K&N appear to be good choices.

I missed the restrictive part. The reference states that Mobil 1 (and Purolator PremiumPlus) are "GOOD FLOW".

true the pure one's are more resrictive, but I like the fact that they use the bypass at the bottom on the flter (unlike the cheaper purolator premium plus) so when it goes into bypass, there is alot less chance the crud in the filter media gets flushed back into the engine.

I like mobil 1 0w20 for my civic(putting redline mtl in the tranny next week :) ) and amsoil 10w40 in the honda f12x turbo ski.
