switching from z to klasse

Hello,

I have 2 coats of zaino z5, one of z2 on a black lexus is300 (garaged nightly). i am looking to switch over to klasse+s100, and would like to begin the transition by topping my current zaino layers with s100.



from what i understand, the s100 will start wearing away the zaino. I am looking to reapply s100 once every 3 - 5 weeks (weekly washes, QD with either EFCP or quikshine, which is another thing i have a question about). My idea is to keep the zaino layers underneath until it wears away via oils in s100, at which point i'd switch to AIO. How long would it take for the zaino to wear away to the point where i should do AIO? i live in the SF bay area and its been raining about once a week or so, otherwise sunny and temps in the 60s.



in making this switch, i would also switch qd's from z6 to either EFCP or clearkote quikshine. Can anyone experienced with both compare their dust-repelling abilities?
 
You don't have to wait,You could just apply a coat of Klasse SG over Zaino and then start topping with S100.

You could use Z-6,QS or EFCP as a QD,but I would't waste the Z-6.

QS or EFCP would be just fine on top of S100:up

I'm not too sure about the S100 wearing away the Zaino. People are always topping off sealants with wax. Where did you hear this?



If you use AIO one (or two?) times it should remove all the Zaino though.
 
It was always stated on the zaino website and by many other zaino users that zaino is incompatible with carnaubas, that the oils would break it down. i figured that if i topped with a wax, that the zaino would eventually wear away to the point where it would no longer protect, at which point i'd reapply sealant (this time, klasse). therefore, i dont see a need to manually remove the zaino.



i also dont intend on using KSG, since many people seem to have pointed out that topping AIO directly produces results just as good, if not better.



Has anyone else felt that having KSG in between AIO and carnauba topper produced a significant benefit?
