Hi guys,

Noticed majority of guys on here are from the USA. Just wondering if anybody has tried Swissol?

thanks

I tried Swissol, excellent stuff, a litlle more expensive than other products but well worth the money !

(I ordered 3 years ago a Master Collection and still have plenty left to do my car a few times !)

I think there will be no more Swissol soon (not that I've tried it). Check this out:

Swissol Lawsuit

They just have to change thier name. It has already been settled. I was just wondering is their a better wax than Swissol as I haven't come accros one yet? :xyxthumbs

I did a quick search and there seems to be differing opinions. The cost of some of the products does seem to be a big factor for many.

What do you use mate and how well does it last mate?

I dont use wax much these days but I do like Blitz. P21S is also great and very easy to use. I guess almost any of the waxes talked about here will all give good results as a LSP

What is it about the Swissol that you would like to better?

For me there are lots of waxes I prefer for looks, gloss, depth, ease of use and durability, and tha main factor cost!

I know this is an old topic, but thought it may be of some use.

I use Swissol over here. I've used the Onyx, Shield, Fine Paint cleaner and Quik Clean spray. I've also used the Zymol base line wax (just can't recall the name) and the Zymol paint cleaner (blue colour) and the Zymol Protectant.

I can say that Swissol waxes are great! They can be a little hard to use when cold and the Shield requires being made nice and warm before applying it as if the wax is cold it will streak. I use to sit mine in hot water for a while or out in the sun to get it nice and warm. The Shield has the PFTE in it and it does give a better look than the Onyx and also lasts longer.

The Swissol Paint cleaners are also very easy to use giving great results. The Quik Spray is excellent for after washing as it will remove light water marks left from drying and give it a "just waxed" feel.

I've given up with the Zymol paint cleaner now days as it's just to runny. It's never been the same since Turtle Wax took it over.

For those that are still to be swayed by Swissol, it's now recommended by arguably the best car manafacturer in the world, that being Rolls Royce so they must be doing something right as a complete kit comes standard with every Rolls sold world wide
