Swirls/Scratches Problem!!

Well, I just got a new truck about one month ago. I detailed it the first weekend I had it. I put about seven layers worth of Poorboy's products on the truck. I thought that I had some fine "spider-web" scratches on it so I decided to use SSR2.5 with an Orange Pad. After using all sorts of polishes and finishers, I notice that there are still quite a few scratches...it almost looks worse.

Any idea on what I could do to fix it?? :ermm: My truck is white so I guess it is pretty bad when I can see them somewhat easily!!

Thanks alot
Brent

Work your way down in a progressive manner from the 2.5 to some finer polishes and pads. That would be my first guess.

ya try 2.5 with a polishign pad and then work down to SSR 1 and make a few passes with each if needed. Steve says that if you use any ssr with a light cut pad then you must follow with the same product and a polishing pad. once you do this you can move down to a lower polish.

Oh...that makes sense. What I did was go 2.5 with a cutting pad then SSR1 with a polishing pad.

Instead I should go 2.5 with a cutting pad and then 2.5 with a polishing pad, right??
