Swirls left by Wool Pad on Headlights.

I used rotary with wool pad as advised, for the first time on my headlights, and it left numerous swirls all over the headlight.

How do i fix this?

What polish did you use is more the question that's appropriate, wool does not necessarily mean bad swirling.

I was using-

#83 on wool

Then #80 with Yellow Pad on Rotary.

Then #26 with Brown Pad according to settings.

On headlights I have had good results by rotary polishing with Meguiar's PlastX on a 3.5" purple foamed wool pad, followed by whatever my last polishing step is for the paint, usually 106FF on a white pad.

83 on a burgundy pad will fix it. Keep the rpms down to 1200 or less, foam cut pads like to heat up. Follow with #80 as before.
