Hello folks,
I recently bought a 2001 Mazda Miata LS in Classic Red. The car is in beautiful shape with only 16k miles on the clock. The paint has a nice luster to it, but is completely covered head to toe in pretty significant swirl marks.
I bought some new product to help remove the swirls...Sonus Swirlbuster and the DAS SwirlBuster Pad, with Porter Cable. I went over the trunk lid with two applications of SwirlBuster, wiping off the residue with MF in between...swirls still very much there...I'd say 10-15% improvement.
Here are a couple of snaps of the trunk lid to illustrate:
I'm ready to move up to a more aggressive mix of product and pad since the Swirlbuster and DAS SwirlBuster Pad aren't cutting it. What do you guys think?
Thanks!
Bates
