Swirls Galore 2

Randomman, your title was perfect for my situation, so I had to steal it.. :-)

I could use some advice on the best way to get these swirls out.

You can see the condition of my paint in the pic below.

I currently have 3 products in my garage, 3M Swirl Mark Remover for dark cars, 3M Finish Restorer, and Meguiars Swirl Remover #9.

I recently purched a PC and just got the sonus pad kit delivered. My plan is below.

Wash with meguiars car wash.

clay the surface with a mothers clay bar.

use one of the products above till the swirls are removed or minimized. Which sonus pad should I use for this step? I have the blue, orange and green pads.

top with NXT ( I do have some #26, is NXT best layered on top of itself?) Maybe 2 layers of NXT, then a topper of #26?.

Thanks in advance for everyone's opinions!

As from what I have learned here you might need to order some new products to get those out.

The 3M SMR will mainly just hide the swirls temporarily and the #9 will remove some but not all of them.

You may want to order some DACP or #80.

Again, im a noob.

Potentially I think that the meguiars products (suggested by 1slow50) might remove the marks, or at least appear to remove the marks.

However, if buying new products was your next move, then I would suggest Menzerna IP followed by Menzerna FPII - neither of these polishes will 'hide' the marks, but if you manage to remove these marks with IP then you can rest assured that the marks will be removed, and not simply hidden.

I should state I have no experience with Megs #9, or the 3M products so can't help you with that.
