Swirl X Application?

Is a product like Swirl X intended to be used on an entire car, or should it just be used in areas where swirl marks are most noticeable? Thanks.

Depends how picky you are. Most Autopians would probably think that even a "nearly perfect" car could benefit from an overall polishing, but if most of it is "good enough" then sure, only spot-correct the obviously bad areas.

You could always do the bad spots and then incrementally do the rest of the car as time/etc. permits.

Note that I don't consider SwirlX to be different from any other abrasive polish, even though it might be marketed as more of a "spot-correction" product. IMO if the exact same product came in a gallon jug nobody would think it was any different from any other medium-mild polish.
