Swirl marks caused by PC. Why?

As mentioned earlier, if you are having marring problems with the orange pad, after you use it, switch to either a green or white pad and a less aggressive polish and that should clean up the micromarring for you.

I believe you missed (or did not read) some of my posts in the thread, but that's alright. I do the same thing sometimes! lol. After using the orange pad, I did switch to white pads with a finishing polish product. Today, I did not get the pigtails using less pressure on the same orange pads.

I keep seeing questions like "How much pressure are you using?" Well, how can you gauge pressure? What is "really hard" to one person won't be the same for someone else. What is the appropriate amount of pressure for polishing in terms that is a universal standard for PC's?

I remember the first time I placed my PC on a common bathroom scale and applied pressure. I was really suprised to find out how much pressure you can apply to it. Using enough force (though a very bad idea when actually polishing) could actually equate to the phrase "standing on top of it".
