What is a good swirl free polish i can use to reduce swirls. My car is a metallic silver 2000 Trans Am so the color is pretty forgiving. The paint is in great shape. The only thing I have right now is Wizards Shine Master Polish and breathable Sealant. (That is one product just so you know) Has anyone used it? what do you think of it? thanks.

Meguiar's #82 Swirl Free Polish gets my vote.

Are you removing them by hand or machine?

I did this with a Makita and Polishing pad. 2 passes of SFP...

Well I have a buffer so i could do either one.

also, what chain store carries #82 and #81? I cant find it anywhere around here.(U.S. - Ohio)

You probably won't find a chain store that sells those, unless they're a smaller chain of some kind. Body shop supply stores and some auto parts stores that sell a lot of Megs products might. If you may want to purchase #83 DACP too while you're at it.

While GSRstilez's pictures are very impressive with this product, keep in mind that he used a rotary polisher to do that. Products usually are less effective by PC, and even less by hand or non-PC buffer.

Believe NAPA carries #82. I purchased #83 and #81 from them.

if the swirls are not bad, i would use some megs #9 applied by hand to strat safe... just did this on my black svt focus... it turned out great!!! ill have some pics tomorrow...besides many pepboys have # 9.

Where in Ohio? There is a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Refinishing Store in Akron that you could get it. I'm sure they probably have other stores around Ohio too.

Also, Summit Racing carries most (if not the entire) Mirror Glaze line. That's actually where I get most of my Meg's stuff.
