Swirl cover

I have three coats of Z on my car now and at night I can still see some swirls... the Z website says it may take up to 5 coats before they are gone. My question really is... will the swirls really become invisible? They are nothing more than from washing with the wrong type of materials... lemme know if anyone has had similar experience or situations.

Z5 really does not cover the swirls; I would suggest a swirl remover product like SMR or 3M. I have found that Z will give you an awesome shine but won't do much for swirls.

Don't rely on Z-5 to do much swirl-filling except for marring in existing Zaino layers. Paint prep is of the utmost importance when using Z.

My experience with Z-5 on a black car is that it doesn't much in terms of swirl-filling. I did see some results by the time I got to 10+ layers, but I still wasn't too happy with the way the car looked because the first three layers would actually magnify swirls and other imperfections. After my first coat of Zaino , I saw swirls that I didn't see before.

I finally decided to apply a very light abrasive to remove the Zaino layers and the swirls almost 'magically' disappeared.

If you've got your heart set against leveling your clear-coat, then the only thing you could do is reduce the appearance of swirls by 'rounding-out' their edges with a mild abrasive such as Meg #9 or PPCL.
