Surf city grime destroyer??

My dad loves it for taking bugs off from driving back and forth to Michigan. I tried it diluted 1:1 on my really dirty BMW wheels and it works great. Less than 1/2 the price of P21s gel and I can buy it locally. Seems to be fairly ph neutral, not caustic or acidic at all like Eagle A2Z or Megs WB.

actually, A2Z is acid free...

A2Z™ All Wheel & Tire Cleaner

A2Z is caustic like I said, it's pretty potent stuff with some nasty fumes. WB is acidic and could probably strip skin off bones. Grime Destroyer feels like hand soap compared to either one.

Yep, which makes it all the more remarkable.

the A2Z doesn't bother me, but the WB is pretty potent and i don't find myself using it often and would rather not. i'll have to give GD a try sometime...

Yeah A2Z isn't that scary. That's not to say I would want to bathe in it or get it in my eyes. But we shouldn't forget GD is pretty potent in its own right.

I just used SCGD as a pre wash, cut it in a spray bottle. Sprayed entire car, on the lower parts of the panel and front I put SCGD straight. Then foamed the car with the power washer, agitated a bit with my mitt, foamed and power washed the entire car. I think I found my new routine! required very little agitation to get it clean. My only problem still has to do with the hard water in this area. Some people have mentioned ONR and I was wondering if adding ONR to my wash water would help with the hardwater...
