Has anyone actually used any of these products? I bought some beyond clay this weekend, with the intention of using it on my '02 Z28.

Just curious if anyone has any feedback on these products. I found the entire line at PepBoys.

Their products are fantastic. The car wash has replaced all of my previous go-to's. The degreaser/bug grime product is second to none. The glass cleaner has replaced three others I was using, and the interior detailer/cleaner works on everything from the dash to carpet stains (really!).

Top notch products, IMO. They're expensive, but they work so well that I just keeping buying them. I'm scared to use their wheel cleaner, tire dressing, and sealant/wax products, as I already spend too much on this hobby.

I use the grime Destroyer and liquid wax. Both are absolutely fantastic. Higly recommended.
Was trying to clean out my lug holes with APC, SG, ARO and nothing helped until I used SCGD. And it did not hurt my clear coated wheels.

Grime Destroyer, Clearly Better glass cleaner, Speed Demon and Hot Rod Detailer are all excellent. I used the Voodoo leather once - strong leather scent. I liked it. I have the Beyond Black tire dressing and Nano glaze that I haven't used yet.

I tried the Dash Away but didn't care for the smell. Strange, since the rest of their products have a nice smell.

Keep an eye out for coupons, I scored a bunch of Surf City products when PepBoys had a $10 off $30 purchase coupon several months ago.

Sure wish they were sold around here. Even though I have APC+, I sure wanna give the grime destroyer a shot.

I have only used two of their products (clearly better glass cleaner and dash away) and love them. The glass cleaner does not streak at all. I was using SIG before and would get streaks but never with clearly better. Dash away is great because it can be used anywhere in the interior. It works great at cleaning plastics, leather, vinyl and carpets.

The local performance parts shops got rid of all Megs stuff and started selling the Surf City line. I was wondering about it as well, guess I'll have to try it.

You will not be sorry...

Some SC products that have yet to leave my shelves for almost 2 years

Grime destroyer

Clearly Better

Tire Pro

Beyond Steel

Dash Away

I use there tire dressing, car wash and carnauba wax. Great stuff!

Tire dressing- nice black look to tires. Not "shiney".

Car wash- great smell and foam. Also leaves a great gloss to the paint with the carnauba in it.

Carnauba wax- easy to put on and off. Nice deep look to the paint. durability is on par with other carnauba waxes.

I like beyond black just doesnt last that long here in soggy FL. I do like Grime Destroyer, Killer Chrom is decent, and like there Glass Cleaner a lot. Them and Duragloss are some of my favorite OTC products.

I have Surf City Garage products on my list of products to use and test now that I'm here at Autogeek and one thing for sure they do a great job in their packaging and are getting a lot of good feedback.

Should be fun and interesting.

Plus their acronym is really cool...

SCG

:D

It seems that quite a few members have interest in Surf City products. I remember early on last year when Surf City first started up, that the manager of Classic said on this forum that they had been approached to be a dealer, but declined, as the products were good, but were old 1980 technology, not up to date chemicals. I wonder if they have updated any of their products with the new chemicals just out?

I checked their web site a few days ago and saw I could get them at Pep Boys near my house. I may try a few, and I'll see if Pep Boys can get the larger sizes if I like them.

I picked up some Surf City car wash - the blue stuff today. Washed my Tacoma and my wife's Escape. The stuff worked great. The end result was way better than the Mother's I ran out of. Super foamy and smells fantastic.

The SCG Car Wash works great in my foam gun. Love the glass cleaner. I like the tire dressing, but it doesn't last long at all. But I still can't find one I like that lasts...

Haven't tried the Grime Destroyer but have heard nothing but great things about it. I wish AG would start carrying the whole line again (hint hint Mike). They did at one point, and then it got swept up in hype of other products I think and got lost in the mix.
