Supra and 1st time PC user

It's hard to believe, but my 1997 Supra Turbo is now 7 years old. Despite being a garage queen (27,600 miles), its paint was somewhat neglected by its previous owner from New Mexico. She claimed that the car was detailed every 2 weeks, but judging from the swirl marks I don't think it was true professional.

Here's what I did:

* washed with Dawn soap

* DACP with Porter Cable

* Z5+Z2+Z2 (combined with ZFX) Zaino

I've taken pride with keeping my Supra completely OEM stock, but I couldn't resist the temptation to get a TRD stainless steel exhaust on Ebay for a great deal. Amazingly, I think it's quieter than the stock exhaust.

My wife always kids me that I could stick a Pepsi can in that muffler...and she's right!

Yeah, I lovvve Supra's! That thing is just amazingly clean. I'm a real sucker for a red car :) What color is that called? Is it a OE turbo?

Zaino seems to work out quite nice for you :xyxthumbs

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

GSRstilez,

The color is called Renaissance Red, a pretty common color for mkiv Supras.

dex,

Yes, you're correct and bring up a good point. I washed the car again with Dawn after the DACP. Being an amatuer with the PC, I sent "white splatter" spots all over the car. DACP was also difficult to buff completely off.

Awesome job on the detail! The Zaino looks pretty good on your red paint. Nice Supra by the way. I've always wanted a MKIV Supra...maybe someday. :)

Dean,

Awesome job on the Supra! Sweet car!

Having just used a PC and DACP for the first time yesterday, I found DACP was a breeze to wipe off.

I spread it on 3 or 4 for about 30-45 sec, then turned it up to 6 for another 30-45 sec. After that, it wiped off as easy as anything else I've used.
