Supercharged 2007 Vette - Immaculate Reflections

FYI, I did a CD scratch test on these MFs, and I couldn't see any scratches. Don't know about the wickability yet though.

I have gotten scratches from neatitems and Miracle Towels on CDs.

The question is, how many rubs and how hard do you have to rub to finally find some? When I tested the Miracle towel I saw them at about 40 "medium" rubs. Highly subjective test, the only use of it is to tell how abrasive something is vs. something else IMO.

I've been maintaining this car since it was new with 343 miles on it. Don't ask me why that exact number stuck in my head, but it did lol. Been using Zaino on the car twice a year. Last year did some light correction work on it to remove some light wash-induced swirls over the years. Unfortunately a few months ago the rear was repainted and the body shop left their calling card.... swirls, RIDS, and holograms all over the car. They weren't horrific, but they're there.

This detail wasn't a correction this time around, that will be handled later. I used the Gloss-It, Gloss Finish as the LSP for the Vette this time. It gave the metal flake in the paint a little more pop in the sun. The owner was happy with it and I was as well. Again this was just a wash/clay/sealant job, no correction was done.

Process:

Exterior
-Foamed with Dawn
-Rinsed and Dawn wash
-Gloss-It Wheel Gel
-Daytona EZ detail brush
-Swissvax Wheel brush
-Clayed with Z18 and Megs LT as lube
-Gloss-It Signature Tire Gloss on tires and black trim

Interior
-Vacuumed
-Leather with Megs APC 10:1
-Zaino Z10 conditioner
-Stoner's Invisible Glass on windows
-vents and console cleaned with various brushes/qtips

LSP
-Gloss-It: Gloss Finish
-Gloss-It: Gloss Enhancer

This was in essence a working vacation.... note you can see my 09 Suzuki GSXR strapped down in the bed of my truck. Went for a cruise with my car club the day after this detail, 120 miles from home.
