Thank you all for all your advice in the past. For you all that do not know know I am a school teacher by profession. Since school let out Thursday I have been able to wash/wax 10 clients cars. That is great cause all year I have been wanting to get ouf the classroom and work at my hobby and love. Thanks for your help you all. I have learned so much from you.

Well if I didnt tip you directly, Im sure I can speak for the rest of Autopia, your :welcome

Thanks for the reply Patrick. Let me ask you a question. I had a person call me to do a limo today. I was really excited cause I had been making $ all day and this would push me up to my goal for 1 day earnings. It's Black. It had been sitting in the parking lot all day. It was nearly 82 degrees. You can tell this is going to be bad. Ok so I pull out my EZ UP and do my darnest to cool down the surface of the car. I washed it and clayed it by constantly showering water on it. It worked well. When it came to polishing and waxing it I moved the limo under the canopy and wiped it down with towels until I thought the surface had cooled. I did about a 2 foot section then wiped it off and moved to another section. Here is my question: What is the right temp to wax in, or is a direct sunlight thing?

Mr, the majority of products do not recommend use in direct sun, and when I say majority, i mean all but one. Vanilla Moose and Moose wax, ok, 2. (That I know of) Those 2 are ok to do in the sun, as long as its not blazing out. You should always strive for shade/partial shade, and a cool surface, but sometimes you just cant meet those small demands. Also, if you can, wash everything under the canopy, unless your bothered by the water on the ground while working.......If you dont have any Clearkote products in your arsenal, you may want to consider them !
excited cause I had been making $ all day

Sounds like whatever program your using is working ! What products do you use ?

Thanks for the reply. I'm fairly new to the game. You vets have made the learning curve easy.

I just set a goal for the summer, how much I need to make by summer's end so I can buy my extractor and have a little $ in place to grow my business. I went out shaking hands earier this week and it produced 8 phone calls and 6 jobs since then. So I'm pretty excited. I am not sure if you are talking about a specific program ie computer based business model.
