Suggestions with aluminum pedals

Hello everyone, so I'm having a free time in a couple of weeks and I will be starting with the interior detailing on my personal car. I have a set of OEM aluminum pedals on my car and I want to get them looking like new again. I'm not sure what product to use or how to tackle the project as I don't want to make them shinny at all. Any suggestions please...

Here is a picture borrowed from ecs. Thanks!

My cars have virtually the same materials/design.

It's kind of hard; but the aluminum is typically an overlay or clearcoated.

So try a general paint polish on them first.

The rubber bits...well you don't want something slimy/greasy.

I've found Poorboy's Natural look to me ok for me. Apply/let dry/buff off.

Ill definitely give that a try. I hate how my dead pedal has tons of scratches now. I really appreciate the help. Anyone else has these or has worked on similar pedals?

On aluminum i use SCG Diamond Edge, check it out at Surf City Garage's website. I have other metal, chrome, aluminum, polishes too but this should take care of all your needs.:xyxthumbs

....I have factory brushed aluminum pedals on my car (with rubber inserts similar to the ones pictured except they are round). I typically just use an APC to clean them up. That’s been enough to keep them looking decent for the last 8 years. Like you, I’m a little apprehensive to use anything that may add a shine to the finish.

I tried a while ago optimum metal polish, but i stopped as I was test spotting because they were becoming shinny. I want to keep the dull aluminum "brushed" look. I saw a while back a polish for stainless steel that is meant for grills. Not sure though...

I usually do that, however this time I want to minimize as much as possible the scratches induced as I step on the pedal, due to dirt and mud that usually collects on rainy and snowy days on my shoes :(
