Substituting QD for a wash after clay

Is this a no no ? :o I was out shopping for a chair all day and now that I've finished my clay it's too dark to wash. Tomorrow is my day off work so I was hoping to do some detailing but this will be very hard if I have to wash. So does anybody know if I can get away with Megs QD instead of washing?

Keep contaminants to a minimal.....I'd go with maybe a MF and some water......
 
I just went ahead and washed it even though I had no shade and there are water marks all over my windows now ;) . I used IHG/SMR (one side of each since I didn't look at the labels) and then zymol carbon. I also tried GEPC on one panel after the SMR and I didn't even notice a difference so I figured why waste the time. Still got some minor scratches that are just going to have to wait till next year when I have a PC.

I used Poorboys Spray and Wipe after I clayed a truck the other day. Cleaned up the residue nicely. I put on some EX next and it bonded just fine.
