This car had some heavy damage inflicted by the dealership's detail department. Along with some nice medium swirls, it was completely covered in holograms and buffer trails. It needed a nice, long 2-step compound and polish to get it ready for the Opti-Coat Pro application. I coated the wheels, head lights, tail lights, trim and all the glass, in addition to the beautiful Galaxy Blue Pearl paint.
My process:
ONR wash and clay
50/50 done on the hood showed I would need to take an aggressive approach to get this car ready for coating in a reasonable amount of time.
I used a Cool Pad Hybrid and a Cool Wool Pad in some spots and HD Cut to remove the deeper defects.
Then I followed up with Optimum Hyper Polish on an orange LC flat pad to remove any hazing and bring out the deep gloss.
The windows were polished using the LC orange/Hyper Polish combo to remove some hard water spotting.
All surfaces were given an IPA wipedown and final inspection before applying the Opti-Coat Pro.
Here's a couple shots of the damage I was dealing with.

A couple 50/50 shots of the hood after compound and polish.

And the (almost, a little marring on the right to still get cleaned up) fully corrected hood. The entire car was in the same condition and took 5 hours to correct. If not for the new technology in pads and compounds we are lucky to have these days, this would have taken alot longer!

And after the full correction and Opti-Coat Pro:
