Stubborn Leather Seats

Anyone have a "go to" leather cleaner? I've tried a couple OTC cleaners as well as diluted Woolite with little luck. I've had the best luck with the diluted Woolite and a toothbrush. I have no pictures but it is grey leather, 2001 Ford and it hasn't been cleaned properly in at least 5 years. Once I get them cleaned I will be back with what to put on them when I'm done to protect what little is left.

Thanks

It is kinda funny you reply. Before I posted I was looking through old threads and read thro<span style="font-size:14px;">ugh one you did...

<span style="font-size:14px;">How to clean & protect the interior of a dirty Ferrari w/ High Definition Products

<span style="font-size:14px;">As I read through that, serious thoughts rolled through my head about HD Total. I figured if anyone gave a good review of that product I would have to buy it and try it.

<span style="font-size:14px;">The Protect is probably something I should follow up with on the leather tho then? How is the gloss and slickness it leaves behind. I will have to get something on my wife's leather seats soon and if she slides around on the seat after I put it on, I will never hear the end of it.

Applying a protectant is a matter of personal choice and in my opinion varies based on the application and vehicle. I helped with the development of HD Dress actually and gave Tunch Goren my idea of what a perfect interior protectant would be like and he actually listened and agreed. It mainly needed to be non-greasy, not shiny, no harsh components (cosmetic grade) but leave the surface feeling soft and supple without attracting resoiling. After many months of trial and error, it finally metamorphasized into HD Protect. If that's what you're looking for in a protectant then this is the perfect one for you! Keep in mind that the updated version is totally different then the initial one used on that Ferrari.

One of my favorite ways to clean filthy leather is a super soft flagged brush on GG 3" da, use a heavy apc like griots interior cleaner and spray onto brush, not directly on leather which can cause spotting.
