This is the first vehicle I've detailed in a couple of years. It was a nice one to get back into things with. No major paint correction - just a good clean and protect for summer time. I'm really starting to like these cars more and more. This one has the Premium package and the Sport package with 19" wheels. They're still some sign of GM, but the fit and finish is pretty nice. Stryker Blue is a really cool color with lots of metallic flake and color is really light dependent.



Wheels/Tires:



-Eagle One All Wheel and Tire

-Zaino AIO by microfiber applicator

-Zaino Clear Seal

-Zaino Z16 dressing



Paint:



-Zaino Z7 wash

-Zaino Z18 spot clay

-Zaino AIO by PC and LC CCS polishing pad

-Zaino Z2 Pro

-Zaino Clear Seal

-Zaino Z8 with Zaino microfiber for final wipedown

-Adams Glass Cleaner

I really like those G8s, too bad GM waited so long to bring something like that to the market.

I still don't understand why all these American car makers not bring their performance cars to America. Have you seen the new Focus RS :drool:



They say they won't sell but I don't believe it.

Gorgeous...I have the EXACT same '09 GT Sport/Premium but in Pacific Slate.



That one is just a bit glossier now, however:2thumbs:
 
Just detailed my black g8 on saturday and someone opened up a car door on me on monday :( :sigh: at least someones g8 is looking good.
 
Zane, there's nothing like a properly cleaned wheel to really set the whole package off! Looks awesome :)

Thanks, Tom. I completely agree on the wheels. I was able to spend a few minutes extra to really get these top notch.

Ford publicly said they are seriously considering bringing us the RS. :woot2:
