Street Dreams Detail - Bentley Azure in Black

Great job David. Having polished one of those things I know what you went through. You do have to love the perfectly flat paint and amazing gaps and fit and finish of the car though!

Thanks for sharing, I'm with Brian. The paint is totally Swazyified beyond all Seagalness...

How long have you worked with this black swirl monster? and how many people use to get the job done?
 
the car looks great...

but it seems like its not a show car.. how would you expect a owner to keep the car with out it getting back to how it was?...
 
The answer is simple, it's all up to the owner, that being me. I have several exotics that I drive daily, some have up to 50K miles. I believe that cars can be driven and well maintened, its all according to owns them.
On anther note, it was truly a pleasure to watch David in action, he takes his work to a level that is greatly admired as well as appreciated. Thanks again David for making the Bentley a Bentley.

Wow that came out nice, so is the clear harder on the new Bentleys or was it just that bad? I polished out a Flying Spur a while back and the paint was corrected 95-98% with only a Flex.

My experience on the coach-built Bentleys (and Rolls Royces) is that they are butter soft and if you go very aggressive with the paint (wool pad and Menzerna Powergloss for a painful memory) you will spend the next day trying to remove those marks as you just keep chasing them down.

These are (in my experience) tricky cars to get right, I'd almost rather polish a G35/37 with their crazy soft paint then deal with a coach-built Bentley.

Bad memories. Powergloss wool and a Bentley do not make a very Swayze combination.
