Storage of MF

Im just curious how you guys store your mf towels and what not. I was told to dry them until almost dry and then put them away, I store mine in a rubbermaid dresser type deal and the concern of mildew poped in to my head today. Would folding and stacking them in the open be a concern because of dust and all. Maybe im being anal but I have alot of money invested in my towels like im sure most of you guys do and just want to make sure they are at there best.

I just keep 'em in a closed cupboard like the other towels. I don't want to keep them in a sealed container 'cause of the mildew reason you mentioned. I just put a general cleaning MF (not for paint) on top so to prevent dust from settling on the "clean" ones and keep the door closed. :nixweiss

I keep mine folded neatly in a DVD/VCR box. The box is the perfect size. I can fit every one of my 32 ExcelDetail MFs and my 22 WalMart MFs in the box, folded and put in separate piles.

When their dirty, there is a shoebox for the cheap MFs, and a regular cardboard box for the good MFs.

Do you seal, the containers before they are dry.

I pull the out of the dryer while they are still damp and allow them to air dry. Fold them up and store them away until the next time.

I store mine in plastic storage containers. I pull them out of the dryer after they're completely dry (no static problems with my quality MFs, only with the cheap Target ones), fold them, and neatly stack them in the containers according to the type of towel.

dternst,

Woah, I hope you are a professional detailer and not just a hobbyist. You have a MF sickness if you are a hobbyist!
