Stoner

alright so whos high?:yay ok just kiding

I love stoners invisable gloss for mine and clinets cars, it is very inexpensive and works really well. My partner on the other had likes some other foaming spray, works just as well and is abut the same prices. (not a big deal)
One thing we noticed is that after when using stoners it seams to leave a film on the glass, you cannot see it so its not a big deal but it seams to repel water better then rain-x.
Has anyone noticed that stoners leaves a clear film that seams to repel water, i dunno what it is but i love it and it works really well. Any thoughts

Re: Stoners

ive noticed it yes.....occasionally i get some streaking or hazing with it too, but not nearly as much as other glass cleaners. i hate those foaming aerosol cans though, pump spray ftw

I have noticed it as well. I'm not sure if it is a film or just that the glass is really clean. I'm not complaining though :). I sometimes get streaking if the towel is a little dirty but other than that IG is my go to glass cleaner.

I use Stoner's exclusively and like it alot. However, I wouldn't call it "very inexpensive". I got a 3 pack of the pump spray bottles from AG, and that was about as inexpensive as I've seen it.

I can get it at my local costco for cheap. I get a 4 pack (cans) for less then 15 bucks ( i bought 3 packs last time so im not sure if its the same price) but ya i got 12 cans for under 45, i dont use alot since is a foaming glass cleaner. so in my opion its a relativly cheap product

Invisible Glass is a great glass cleaner. I've noticed also that it seems to leave a Rain-X like water repellent film on the glass. I wouldn't say it's quite as effective as Rain-X though, but IMO if you already put Rain-X on your glass it acts like a booster.

Theyre about $3.50 each @ Target and Wal-Mart

I like Stoner's Invisible Glass but use it as a LSP for my glass. When I really want clean glass I use Poorboy's EX-P then top off with the IG. I'm not sure which product acts like the Rain-X, but the combo works for me.

Edit: Hehe! My 350th post!

Out of interest, what do all of you use to clean the inside of the glass? Do you use Stoner's for that as well?

I sure do, does a good job of getting that film that builds up off. I have had no probelms using it on the inside of the window

Cool, now for me, I could only get the Stoner's that come in an aerosol can, and I really don't want to be spraying that and getting it all over the place. I figure it would be safe to spray a MF (dedicated for glass cleaning) while outside the car, then just rub the windows down using the MF?....
