Stoner GUST

Has anyone used Stoner GUST? How does it compare to any other can of compressed air you can get for around $5?. I've been trying to find GUST locally . I would like to try a can out but do not wish to order online and pay shipping. If it's real good I'll order a bunch from Stoner directly.

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks.

I use it. I like it. The can gets so cold you can barely hold it while using it though... Cleans out the AC vents pretty good. Gets all those nooks and crannys too. One can lasts me about 5 cars that I'm fully detailing.

Stoner did have a deal going on, where with your first order you get their sample kit with all kinds of products to try. I ordered a case of Invis. Glass and a case of Trim Cleaner - got this kit that had about 15 cans of stuff for me to try - Gust happened to be one of them...

Also, I think that with a $100 order you get a free white t-shirt that has the word STONER on the front in bold red letters...
I haven't got up the nerve to wear it in public yet... ;)

Onthespot,

Thanks for the info. I have a case of MSLT I use on black painted surfaces on the undercarriage and wheel wells. Sounds like GUST is just like the other air in a cans availible. I though I read somewhere on the stoner site there is another version of GUST too that doesn't freeze to the touch when using but I would have to check for that again. I think it was only availible by the case for like $62. Looks like I'll just get any air in a can I can buy locally. It's good the can lasts you 5 cars. I was thinking of using it under my hood in spots I would have to otherwise remove my plastic plenulum cover to get at.

i've used the gust cans as well and i'd say they are pretty much the same as others. i know office depot has air cans fairly cheap.

i'd think for the cost of a few cases you could buy an inexpensive air compressor instead though. you can find them pretty cheap, around 150 bucks at hd or lowes.

I'm with tascar and Tassadar on this one for sure. A compressor and blow gun is the way to go! Not only is it in the long run cheaper it's far more versitile. Three negative, however. Space, noise and electricity. It may still be worth it for a mobile guy to get the cans.

You can always get a portable air compressor. Just compress the little hombre up at home, take the tank with you, and use the gun there. Its extremely useful.

I use the air compressor to blast out the little crevices after I wash a car to make sure no water drips out (arg)
