I wonder if I qualify. I haven't lived or worked in U.S. for 4 years. I haven't filed for that long either, so maybe I'm inelegible.

You gotta file a return to get it, even if you had no income. Looks like you're out. The economy will have to trudge on without you spending your $600 "free money."

I got mine! Direct deposit to the account. The wife has already spent it on furniture.

My check is going to start a 529 college plan for my 18 month old son. Since the wife has been working part time (and not full time anymore) since he was born, it has been hard (read: it hasn't happened) to save any money. Uncle Sam is going to help my little guy get an education!
