RESIDENT PROCRASTINATOR
it has been quite some time since i last visited detail city.however, with spring approaching it is time to start getting my car in top shape again. I can honestly say that my car looks as good or better than the day i picked it up from the dealer 2 1/2 years ago. Thanks to steve and everyone else at DC. It was pretty nice today so i washed, clayed, ssr2.5, ssr1, and ex-p to my infiniti g35 coupe. it turned out pretty nice. i can't wait to throw a few more coats on. anyway, i thought it only right that i could share some pics. enjoy.

Nice job! I almost bought a G35 coupe a couple of years ago, but I couldn't get my hands on one with both navigation and a manual transmission. So, I didn't end up buying one. The concept for the next generation coupe looks awesome though.

Quick question . . . when you applied the SSR polishes did you do so by PC? If you used a PC what pads did you use for each polish? Just curious about your regimen. Thanks.

mikeyc, yes i use a pc. i used an edge green pad(light cut) with ssr2.5 for the hood and roof. I have no idea why but they had a little more wear from the winter. Then i followed up with an edge blue pad(polishing) with ssr1 over the whole car. followed buy one coat of ex-p by hand. i plan to do three coats of ex-p before topping with megs #16. I also couldn't find a manual and navi when i was looking a few years ago, so i ended up getting an auto. I have absolutly zero complaints, i will buy another infiniti if i ever need to. but this one looks and runs better than the day i bought it:D
