Steve's EX and more

I agree with Thumper... since its your first use with a rotary (can make quite a big difference even with non abrasive products), your paint is probably in better shape than before (when you're using other products)

Follow up: I washed the Jetta for the first time yesterday and it seems to look even glossier/wetter than before. The EX stuff is amazing and I kind of feel like my quest for a better shine on the silver car is finally over. I thought about taking another picture or two but the quality of the surface just can't be captured by the camera.

I used SONAX car wash and the result is quite impressive.

I don't know that I would attribute the excellence of shine to the Makita. It was only used to apply the Poorboy's PwC. The EX and Natty's was applied with the PC. The surface condition of this car was just about perfect before I began work. The car is never driven in inclement weather and never sits outside.

The two "test panels" I did on the red GM car appear to be doing as well, if not better, than other products I have tried. That car is outside 24/7 and nothing beads for more than 4 to 6 weeks. I've tried just about everything and the problem is the general fallout in the air. The painted surfaces get dirty real quik and everything is down hill from there. Even with weekly washing, any type of product, incl Klasse, appears to lose its effectiveness quickly.
