:yeahBoss_429 said:I've applied EX with a Meguiar's (or other) foam applicator. When I first start, I give the applicator a light mist with a good QD, then I put several tiny dots of the EX on the applicator, and lightly spread it all over the surface of the applicator to "prime" the entire surface. (don't apply to much)
With a properly primed applicator, and using light coats, there should be no problem applying or removing EX.
I've had the VM and EX-P combo for about 11 weeks now, and it seems to be holding up fine on my garaged vehicle. There were no preceding prep steps (except for either a wash or Spray & Wipe) since the car was already in excellent condition.srj1984 said:Hey awd330, does applying ex-p over the vm give good and durable results? Did you apply anything before the vm, like polish or ssr1? Do you think washing...clay....vm....ex-p would have good results? I am always looking for a quicker or easier process for a good detail and from what i have read, VM is a fairly easy product to apply by hand. My concerns were that the ex-p wouldnt work real great over the glazey/waxy VM.
thanks
