One line of products, its ok to stick to one line of products, but I think its better to have a set of different products for different tasks.
It would somewhere along the lines of what drewski59 stated. Thats the basic line up of car care and most companies make those products.
Meguiar's (paint, Mirror Glaze, and Body Shop line)
1. Meguiar's #00 wash, Gold Class Wash, Rich suds, #62...
2. Meguiar's C-2000 overspray clay (their consumer clay sucks)
3. Meguiar's #1 or #2 cleaner, Dual Action Cleaner Polish, Speed Glaze
4. Meguiar's #3, #5, #7, or #9 polish/glaze, hand polish
5. Meguiar's #20 polymer sealant or #26 Hi-tech yellow wax, maybe even #16 pro wax, or #6 cleaner wax.
6. Maintain with Meguiar's wash and #34 Final Inspection
Meguiar's (Interior, etc.)
1. Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner plus to clean the interior and exterior parts (good all purpose cleaner and inexpensive)
2. Meguiars #40 for vinyl, plastic, and rubber.
3. Meguiar's Clear plastic collection for the clear plastic in the inerior and roadster windows
4. Meguiar's #28 Metal Polish
Meguiar's doesn't make a window cleaner or fabric protectant, but everything else is covered.
3M
1. 3M Wash
2. 3M polish (several different lines, Perfect it, Perfect It II, Perfect it III, Finesse It, Finesse It II, etc. etc. The most popular are 3M Swirl Mark Remover and 3M Finesse It II, 3M Perfect It III Machine Glaze.
3. 3M Imperial hand glaze
4. Wax with one of 3M's waxes
3M makes Scotchguard interior protectant.
I give the edge to 3M's polishes and the edge to Meguiar's waxes.
(hmmm. I seem to know Meguiar's better than 3M, maybe Meguiar's website is more user friendly than 3M's.)
A Porter Cable polisher will help tremendously with the polishing and cleaning steps.
Then you can just mix and match products, like wash with your favorite wash (mine is Meguiar's Gold Class), then polish with 3M, Valugard and Meguiar's (have several different products from each), then seal in with a sealant (Klasse, Zaino, Blackfire, Platinum) and if Klasse, try some Souveran. (For garage queen I love to clean/polish with Pinnacle PCL (paint cleansing lotion, or Meguiar's #7) then Souveran. This is where durability isn't an issue and the garage queen will be waxed often.
