n1976jmk- The inexpensive steamers like that are, IME, of limited value. Gotta watch that they don't scald you when they break too. OK...I'm generalizing a lot from the two or three I had in that pricerange, but as Mr. Greensteam pointed out, this is the kind of equipment that just doesn't lend itself to that kind of economizing.
I *will* say that I got some small jobs done with the cheapie steamers, but overall I look back on them as a waste of money. You can do pretty much anything necessary to a car's interior without a steamer anyhow. Yeah, they're handy for emulsifying certain messes (less handy IMO for the "blasting stuff clean" that some people use 'em for), and yeah I use mine, but(!note that I'm not a Pro!) I don't use it all *that* much for interiors and for other jobs where I *do* kinda need it, only a good *potent* steamer is gonna get the work done.
Looking back, even my DeLonghi steamer, which has specs similar to what most people here are happy with, was *FOR ME* a waste of money. It simply won't do stuff that my Daimer can do. Having owned five or six steamers, these days I'm all about "go big, or just skip it" when it comes to what kind to buy.
