Staying in Focus...

OK, just so you guys don't think that I've become a snob because of the cool cars I've been doing lately, here's a daily driver that I did today :). This is a 2002 FooktUs that was in pretty bad condition, but rather good for its age. This car is the owner's P&J (not peanut butter and jelly, pride and joy :)) and he told me when I was done that it didn't even look that good the day he bought it. He said there were spider webs all over it and taking into consideration the age of the car, I could see that the owner has taken very good care of it. The readings on this car, like all other Focus', were VERY low... like 80-100, but in a lot of places -70. Therefore I told the owner at the start that we wouldn't be doing a "correction polishing", only polishing to remove the spider webs. Being the level-headed guy that he is, he immediately accepted the fact that there would still be some scratches and that looking at his car under the supermarket lamps is not permitted.

Polishing done with my miracle polish, InstaFinish #15 at 900 RPM.

I didn't get many pictures at all because I left my memory card at home and my battery charger at the junkyard where I was last week :), but it really wasn't a spectacular detail anyway, I just thought I'd post to let you know I'm still Jesse from the block :).

Apollo Auto- Thanks for posting this one. A dd with too-thin-for-perfection paint is at least as interesting to me as any exotic! Wow.. that *was* thin.

Is that a small halogen lamp in a few of the pics? I almost thought it was an LED at first

I think it's great that the owner appreciates that car and doesn't just think of it as an appliance :xyxthumbs

Cheers Accumulator! I think you may be referring to the light bulb that was in the garage?
