I've been telling myself that I would get a PC for about a year now! Well the time has finally come, and I am going to order one by the weekend. I was just wondering if this would be a good "starter package"?

I hope its a decent setup. The price is perfect for me!

Thanks a lot,

Thank you very much! Should I get another finishing pad to apply my sealant and/or LSP, or should I get a finessing pad?

Don't forget to search for a discount code! The two I've recently seen on the forums are 'detailcity' for a 10% discount, and 'AGO' for free shipping I believe. I ordered the Portercable Basic Pad Kit last week and didn't use a code:wall

ok...now I'm thinking about getting the Optimum package. I hear people saying how good Optimum is all the time!

Do you work in the compound similarly to the Pinnacle product...pretty much till it disappears?

Is this the process:

Opt Compound-------Orange LC Pad

Opt Polish-------------White Polish Pad

Opt Poli-Seal----------Gray Finishing Pad

Then a good wax

Hello All, I'm a newb here. I would like to get a PC kit and like the kit suggested in post #8

I had a question though. Do I need more pads for multiple cars? I have a 2006 acura and my buddy has 2006 Subaru. We wanted to tackle both but first practice on my 1996 civic. TIA!
