started NXT duerability comparison

Today marks 7 weeks of the test. The car will possibly be sold soon, so dont know how far the test will go? Here is todays pic:

At this point you can see the Z (pass side) is still beading pretty decently. The NXT (middle) is definitely beading, but is starting to diminish. The 476 (dr side) is still beading pretty nicely.

how are the reflections? and the slickness of paint? My NXT application didnt hold up more than a week. Didnt have the slickness that SG had, so the dust kinda stuck to the pain. Redid the whole car with AIO and SG and that car has been reborn. NXT looked really good but only for the first days, then back to dull paint. I also use my car as a daily driver and go through this NE weather.

I cleaned a Civic that I had used Vanilla Moose and NXT on back in late January. The car still looked real good, beaded very nicely, and seemed a bit slicker than the black BMW 545 I had used NXT on about the same time. The Civic is driven every day and parked in a community college parking lot 3 days per week (he teaches), garaged the rest of the time.

The owner of the car is very pleased with the look at this point, btw. I'll be rewaxing it around May 1st, so it will be about 14-15 weeks since being waxed at that point. I am really interested in seeing if the paint is still beading and how it looks.

My Civic sits out 24 / 7 in the wonderful Michigan weather. I would say the gloss of the hood is fairly equal across all 3 parts, but none look as good as the WG I recently applied to one side. None of the panles really fells all that slick anymore, there is some slickness but nothing to write home about (still decent for almost 2 months).

Love to see people realizing the pro's of Collinite!:D

Just a great all around product! A can of 476 lasts you a long time too! I like Insulator Wax (IW) too, but have found it to not last quite as long as 476. Not that I go that long anymore between waxings for it to matter!

Yesterday I saw a car I did back in November with IW. It was still beading small, tight beads after a michigan winter! Sure this a garagted car that only sees about 700 miles per month, but still I thought the IW was holding up great!
