Stainless Exhaust...and a Lab

Ok, so I had some time on my hands today.

I decided to pick up a slightly quieter catback for my '04 Cobra. Keep in mind I only wanted the muffler sections from this used exhaust, so not real worried about the tails.

Being astute to different cleaners, I figured it would come clean.

Soaked with Simple Green, then scrubbed with a green ScotchBrite (several) and Cameo stainless sink cleaner (yes, on your Grocer's cleaner aisle)...Powerballed the tips.

Right side done...Left..still grungy...

Both sides done; along with my "help" for the day. :chuckle:

She's supposed to be black, but I realized she wasn't as she'd been playing in the dirt today. :hmph: I decided that wouldn't do and cleaned her up a bit as well :LOLOL

(Not mad, kinda grinning) She even came factory equipped with a lifetime water repellent, so no waxing here...

Nice pipes! Process on the pup?

Brush; presoak w/tap water; some dog soap; hand wash; hose off and shake dry.

Of course she proceeded to go roll in the grass immediately after we finished :chuckle:

Yikes, that must've been more work than you make it sound like, those pipes sure came out nice.

Nice to see the pics of your helper too :D

I don't wanna know what the pooch supplied as a "help", but I'm sure the acidic qualities off it cleaned those pipes REAL good :D

That's a lovely looking dog.......oh yeah, nice pipes too btw !! :lol
