SSR2.5 vs Menzerna Intensive Polish

JaCkaL829

it was my first time...
Just curious how these two polishes compare in terms of cutting??? Right now I have half bottle of SSR2.5 and about a 1/4 of 1Z PP left and i'm wondering if I should give IP a try. The 1Z PP is a good polish, it really cleans up the paint, but i'm still left with some swirls. I'm wondering if IP is in the SSR2.5/DACP category??? Reason I ask on Autopia shop they have Polishing levels and 1Z PP is rated moderate, and IP is rated moderate+. I'm wondering if theres a big difference between the two or not. Also how effective is IP with the PC??? According to DavidB under his product description he speaks very highly of IP's abilities with a PC. but from what I understand Menzerna's polishes are specifically made for rotary use. Anyone care to describe their experiences with IP and the PC, how well did it remove swirls?, etc? i'd really appreciate the input. Not that theres anything wrong with the SSR2.5, I just like to broaden my horizons.
TIA

I've used IP & SSR2.5 with a yellow LC 7.5" pad on a PC at 4.5 & I've used these products with a yellow LC tufted pad on a rotary at low speed (about 1000 rpm) and I liked them both but I give the edge to SSR2.5.

When I did my DS door with IP it cleaned up the surface quite nicely but when I did the PS door with SSR2.5 the reflection of my sneakers was significantly clearer & the gloss looked like what I'd imagine olive oil would look like on paint.

IMHO, SSR2.5 was the better of the two leaving the surface ready for VM or AIO or whatever. IP left the surface pretty swirl-free and squeaky clean while SSR2.5 left if glossy & slick, perhaps slick enough to go right to wax or sealant..

I'm pretty sure the only Menzerna polish that's made specifically for the rotary is Power Gloss.

I've never used any of the 1Z products.

i know this is an old thread...but i also curious about how the SSR line compares to Menzerna IP & IPII...which one will give the best gloss n shine?...easier to use?..n best at removing swirls?

I've been using IP lately and I always read about others using SSR 2.5. So, I am curious as well.
