Well, as we all know the winter is approaching here in the NE
In preperation for this sucky event I always do one final big detail to prep her for the harshness, as I am sure most of you do to.
On to the reviews:
SSR1/2/2.5 - These have really become my favorite polishes. I know this sounds so promotional but there is not one single time since using these I have needed anything else. Be it paint, plastic, and even glass the ease of use and the quality of the product is simply amazing.
SSR1 I find to be best suited on things like plastic, glass etc. I also have used SSR1 as a glaze in the past with nice results. This may make no sense, we all know it has no fillers, and no oils. However, I have found that using this as a pre LSP really gives a clean, clear, wet surface. I apply with a white polishing pad via PC on speed 4, work it until it begins to dust, wipe off. All the SSR's break down quickly, and wipe off with literally one pass of a MF.
SSR2 - I have found this to be a very versatile polish for my paint. I did a big detail upon purchase of my new car in the beginning of the summer. I picked up some minor marring over the course of the summer from washing and whatnot. If you need some nice cut, yellow CMA pad, less cut, polishing pad. Used with the polishing pad the surface I felt could not be improved upon any further with SSR1. I usually follow if I use the cutting pad.
SSR2.5 - Same as above, only this polish has some kick. I havent run into anything this polish couldnt handle...yet. This is a F250 work truck a friend and I did. Applied with PC speed 6, cut pad, SSR2.5 I will let the pics do the talking:

Finally, UPP. I have read this stuff is slick, WOW, they werent lying. Slickest product ever, by far. Gave my white POP, which says alot. In low light the car has a glow to it thats almost erie. In full sun I can still get reflections out of the white paint, and more so on the side not directly in the sun. Truly amazing product, my new favorite sealant. I have no idea on durability, but I am hoping someone can chime in for me on this.
Keep em' clean this winter, cheers and happy detailing
