SSR 2.5 to SSR2 or SSR 1 to remove marring?

Will stepping down from 2.5 to 2 be enough to remove marring? Or should I go from 2.5 to 1?

SSR 1 helps for light marring and oxd but I would go from 2.5 to 1.

I used PB SSR 2.5 on this car:

I did not notice any maring when I was done.

I went over everything one time with SSR 1.

SSR 2.5 to SSR 1 is a good transition if you use the right pads for the job.

SSR2.5 can leave a nice finish when used with a polishing pad. Some ppl can go straight to LSP, but if yous till have some marring SSR1 will get it done.

Just some FYI, the SSR lines dust a LOT. I tried pptimum's products on my complete car last light...BONG..unreal how much they removed and SSR's did not. Just something to think out...

Well I do have a fresh bottle of OP that I haven't even used yet, so I could go from SSR 2.5 straight to OP.



But in this case, I can get the SSR 1 for $7.95.

really SSR and OP are the same price. SSR is 16 oz and Op Comp is $13.99 for 32 oz. After using OC and OC hyper, I will not be going back to SSR line. Last car I tried SSR it did not remove the marring etc. Op comp did.



I would try, if me, OC (op comp) first then maybe try SSR. Or reverse it to items you have. There really is not (1) one way.
